Do you want to do your shopping in a welcoming environment? Then Bercy Village is the place to go. Easily accessible from the Hotel Interlude, here you’ll find a wide selection of shops, but also exhibitions and a cinema complex. A wonderfully appealing modern shopping centre that combines a historically significant location, relaxation and plenty of purchases, large and small.

An exceptional setting

Until the beginning of the 20th century, Bercy was a centre of the wine trade in Paris. When that particular focus moved elsewhere these warehouses were left abandoned for decades. Then, just over ten years ago, a major programme of urban renewal turned the neglected buildings into the shops and restaurants of an attractive open-air mall. By night carefully designed lighting highlights the historical aspect of the place. The rest of the site has been transformed into a small park that is ideal for walks with your family or special one.

Discover the Parisian brands

The main advantage of Bercy Village is that most Parisian brands are there. So, there’s no need to travel all over the city to choose Parisian perfume or ready-to-wear. From Fragonard fragrances to Agnès B clothing and much more; it’s all here. The relatively small size of the shops is an advantage. It all feels far more relaxed and welcoming than the large, impersonal shopping malls.

Ideal for a short break

Bercy is very well served by the Metro, making it the perfect stop at the end of the day before returning to the Hotel Interlude, or for a lunch break. There are some very good restaurants for various tastes, open from 11:00. In keeping with the tradition and history of the neighbourhood, Bercy also has some excellent wine shops. Wine buffs will get a big buzz out of heading down into an old basement and seeing thousands of bottles lined up, ready for purchase.

Pick up some reminders of your holiday

Bercy Village is also a good place to visit at the end of your Parisian sojourn. Here you can pick up all kinds of souvenirs. Or you might wish to find some home décor items from typically French shops.

Art and culture

Located just a short distance from the Cinémathèque Française, Bercy Village has its own cinema complex and also offers a variety of exhibitions. With photos, paintings and open-air events, there is plenty to enjoy throughout the year.

Nightlife

Here you’ll find chic wine bars in which to spend the evening. As darkness falls, the ambiance changes and you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy your evening. Opt for traditional-style places or trendy bars, as you prefer. Bercy is truly a microcosm of Paris tucked into a small area!
